Individual, play-based therapy for children.

CHILD THERAPY · OUR SPECIALTY

You know your child best.

If something feels off—a change in mood, sleep, behavior, relationships, or how your child is doing at home or school—you don’t have to wait for things to get worse to reach out. Early support can make a meaningful difference.

Children and families often come to me when they’re navigating:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Emotional regulation

  • Academic Stress

  • Trauma

  • Behavioral challenges

  • Peer Conflict / Bullying

  • Self-esteem & confidence

  • Life transitions

  • Communication & Social Skills

  • Identity

  • Grief & Loss

OUR APPROACH

How children heal — through play

Play is a child's natural language. Through it, kids show us what words can't yet reach — and learn to handle the things that feel too big.

Play Therapy

Toys, art, and story become the tools a child uses to express, process, and make sense of their world.

Strengths-Based

We build on what's already strong, so children leave feeling capable — not "fixed."

Cognitive-Behavioral Tools

Gentle, age-appropriate strategies that help kids notice the link between thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Mindfulness & Regulation

Simple, playful ways to calm the body and mind that kids can use anywhere, every day, with confidence.

Humanistic & Child-Centered

A warm, accepting approach that honors each child’s unique needs, strengths, and pace.

Bilingual EN / ES

Sessions in whichever language helps your child feel most at home, comfortable, and understood.

WHAT TO EXPECT

How the journey usually unfolds

Here's the rhythm most families can expect.

1-

A free 20-minute call

Share what’s been going on, your concerns, and what you’re hoping for. Together, we’ll explore whether the support feels like a good fit—no pressure, no commitment.

2-

A parent-only intake

You know your child best. This first session focuses on understanding your child’s world, your concerns, and your goals for therapy.

3-

Weekly sessions with your child

Weekly sessions create space for your child to build trust, express themselves, and develop new skills through play, art and connection.

4-

Regular parent check-ins

Every few weeks, we connect to share progress, discuss what your child is learning, and explore ways to support them at home.

5-

Growing toward independence

As your child meets their goals, we gently ease back — and I'm always here if new challenges arrive down the road.

PARENTS ARE PARTNERS

You are the most important support in your child’s life. Together, we’ll help the growth from therapy bloom in everyday life.
